In the Rio Grande Valley, we have a small community but we all work together in organizing the events taking place all through the year. Since the community is small, all the events are held in our homes.
Even though the community is not as big, we all are enthusiastic about gathering frequently to educate ourselves about Islam. Our mission is to learn something good from each other and help each become a better Muslim.
Generally, we meet once or twice a month for Dua-e-Kumail. We have mujalis in Ramadhan for Imam Ali's (AS) shahadat. We also have mujalis during Muharram. During the first 13 days, we have mujlis every day. After that until the Arbaeen, there is mujlis on every Saturday.
